Seriously though, has anyone had such an absolute grip on a US political party? Ever? George Washington had plenty of squabbling under him. Most dictators had more dissent.

Non-interventionism was an absolute core of MAGA; this would be like Hitler pronouncing "we love Jews!" and everyone lining up like ducks. And they are! /r/conservative is ecstatic...

Something more is going on. This seems more like psychological social manipulation. Shitty ads and political debate are one thing but I wouldn't doubt real manipulation at criminal level digitally happening along with organized crime style strong arming and extortion. I mean they could digitally instigate an unaware person to murder two lawmakers... Without it ever coming back to them.

I don't think people have the freewill they think they have here.

I dunno about extortion, but I’d buy bot/algo manipulation, yeah. That’s already what’s going on, in the open, and how Trump got elected.

Great, so you’ve chosen to create a framework that makes this conflict an existential threat to your opponent. You’ve literally told them that they need to fight with everything they have. That’s a brilliant strategy you got goin’ on there.

He's a moron. It's amazing when he completes a coherent sentence.

Do you have any examples of such a thing ever happening? At least in the past 10 years?

Those chucklefucks aren't going to rock a boat... even when the "captain" is drilling holes in the bottom.

"Not politically correct". It's not a slur dumbass, it's just... kind of a crime? And also, definitely fighting words. The sort of thing that might get Iran to consider a regime change here.

I literally cannot imagine how anybody Trump picks would be any different from the asshole already running the place, tho.
