I hate Elon as much as anyone, but Skymuster is painful. I think the best latency I ever saw was around 650ms. On a bad day it could exceed 2000ms.

Every time you click on a link, the internet pauses for a second or two and then decides to load.

But hold on - latency must be mostly due to the round-trip distance to the satellite. So Starlink should be similar with this, affecting the responsiveness of web sites But with high latency (due to distance), the throughput can still be good - for example when you download a large file, due to how TCP/IP works
