Any hype for the very soon upcoming new class ?
I bought Darktide about 2 years ago but put it on the side after 70h because my friends hadn't bought it yet and the "randoms" I played with were often... let's just say frustrating.
My friends got it a few months ago and I'm now at around 200h of gameplay, leveled all 4 classes and I can't wait for monday to finally play the new one.
I think the price is a bit stiff for a new class, but the update come with other stuff, and considering the time I've spent on Vermintide and Darktide and never paid their game full price, I guess I don't really feel cheated by Fatshark (maybe the other way around). I just hope the money goes in for more development (updates, reworks, ...) and not management bonuses.

It did have a lot of rough edges at release, but the core game is incredible. I’m counting down the days till the update comes out.
I was playing Darktide with a friend recently and some German ran ahead leaving the team behind. He died and then taunted us in a very philosophical way, insulting the very fact of our birth, and then left the game. We later won the game without him.
In my experience, cooperative games have one problem - people don't want to cooperate. I was able to barely reach Havoc level 20 and higher I am not able to, because the randoms totally do not want to cooperate. I've become terribly discouraged with this game and even the new Arbiter class won't change that.
That's our main issue, I've never witnessed toxicity in the chat, but players running around like headless chickens, unable to survive the difficulty level they decided to play, it's about half the missions we play
This game seriously need a bot overhaul to be like Vermintide 2 where your bots had your loadout/talents
That would be awsome!
But to be honest, I don't believe too much that this will happen
We got a pet (cyber-mastiff), and a great Ogryn rework, I want to believe 🤓
