I must say eco tank does look like solid printers, but I simply can't bear the word "inkjet" any more. It's laser for me.
Gotta say I wish I had picked up the higher end ecotank but the basic is hands down the best printer I've ever had
Laser if you don't need photo printing. But if you do need InkJet then seems EcoTank is the way to go for sure.

Ecotanks ftw. Sure they are slightly slower and when the paper gets damp the ink smears but for the price of the ink I'll take it. I bought a 3 pack of black ink 3 years ago and to this day only 1 bottle has been used.
