Engineers build blood-inspired battery to run robots more efficiently - Injecting gas into a silicone oil-water emulsion boosts oxygen capacity sixfold, mimicking how hemoglobin stores oxygen in blood

So we're trying to make Talos a thing?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talos
An emulsion without an oxygen carrier, capable of increased storage, but with slower exchange couldn't be more different than blood. They have to actively inject the oxygen into the emulsion, while blood passively picks up and releases it where it's needed based on ambient partial pressure and dissolved co2. It's almost the opposite of hemoglobin/hemocyanin which changes it's capacity based on need.
Mankind is dead. Blood is fuel. Hell is full.
You know what would be great? Not make AI compete for oxygen with us…
