It's all about growing comfortable with the person, something that traditional relationship models fail with as well.
That sounds terrifying. I often fear losing a special interest too soon. and now feeling that fear with a person would be so much worse.
I get that. Like I've said elsewhere, long-term relationships require comfortable familiarity. This familiarity may or may not occur regardless of what we do, and some relationships just aren't meant to work forever.
