Great shot! They probably had some fresh top snow.
There was about an inch. Spring skiing is actually kinda funny because fresh snow can sometimes make things worse. Last weekend was perfect though.
That’s great you’re still able to get some runs in. Did you hike up with them on your back or skin up?
The trail was dry for the first couple miles, then I was able to skin and then crampons for climbing Snow Lion couloir to the peak. I saw other people use crampons the whole way though.
