Complex tutti section in Chick Corea's Spain
Yeah, you know what I'm talking about, the one just before the solos.
What do you call sections like that? Tutti, interlude, "the crazy part"?
The only other example I know, apart from Chick Corea, is "Las Pulgas Freeway" Eugenio Toussaint. If you know other examples please do share :D
That's a "soli"
But everybody plays the same notes together. So, isn't it the opposite of a solo?
