Can anyone else upgrade buildings in their autophage settlements?
I can upgrade the buildings in my Korvax settlement fine, but the button to do so doesn't appear on any building in my autophage settlement. I tried waiting for a bugfix update because they usually do it daily after an update, but none so far. 😟 Edit: It's sorted now. Details in replies.
I grabbed an autophage settlement today after the patch. Immediately upgraded my overseers office to S because it's like two minutes to upgrade it. Then started building and upgrading the slow buildings. Seems to work for me.
Sure, as soon as I complain about it... 🙄 I hadn't seen any patch come through, but I went in to check anyway, and now it was telling me to build the overseer's place, which it hadn't before. Now that I have it lets me upgrade buildings normally. So I don't know if it was a time thing, or a patch slipped through without me noticing it. In any case, it's sorted now. Thanks.
And yeah, with my first settlement, I was trying to upgrade the housing first, you know "putting the citizen's need above my own" kinda thing, 😛 but you're right, the HQ upgrades are trivial comparatively so might as well.
I have only been updating housing until I have empty spots, then I start upgrading other things.
On one of my other saves my autophage settlement is stuck at 37:37 waiting for an event. No overseer terminal built yet. I think I need to abandon it and start again.
Have you checked at the terminal to ensure there is nothing to do there?
