There’s still no green light from Bayern.
But Pavard intention is clear: he wants to leave and try new chapter.
Pavard won’t sign new deal at Bayern and current one expires in June 2024.
Can't argue with the choice of player, but do we need him? Varane, Martinez, Lindeloef, Shaw, Bailly... I guess if we're always deploying Shaw on the left (thought he was a good CB) then it makes sense since Bailly is paper.
It's good to have some more squad depth esp if anyone gets injured. I would love to see more academy graduates in the first team though.
I always get my hopes up with preseason since so many from the academy are given game time; I hope this is kept up, at least for the league cup. We need to return to that.
