PieFed has a mobile app
Well, actually, PieFed.social has enabled it's API which means that the Android app Interstellar can be used with it. Find out more about the app at https://interstellar.jwr.one/.
Later today https://feddit.online/, another PF instance, will enable the API too and I expect others will follow in good time.
Also good to mention Interstellar also has a test flight for iOS and macOS as well. Meaning Interstellar will work on any platform (Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, Windows).
An update for Interstellar will be released tomorrow with additional PieFed API support, including PieFed notifications
Hi ! Thank for the app ! Can we switche the default post language on interstellar ? I often comment in french and english. :)
Under the behaviour menu in settings. The top option should be for default post language.
Yes but i meant when i post because i'm on french and english community. So i need to select the language when i comment.
Actually, the method Lemmy and PieFed use to specify a post or comment language has not been supported yet. I'll try to look at adding support today.

@Jerry @rimu Incredible timing, lemm.ee just announced they're shutting down at the end of the month. At 6PM I committed to moving over to feddit permanently and then 4 hours later I see this awesome news.

About a year and a half, October 2023. I landed there after a few months of trying to host a single-user lemmy instance at home.
Personally, like the PWA a lot more. It looks nicer, and easier to use. But the API is tremendous leap forward. Congratulations.

Hell yeah I've been looking forward to this. I didn't want to make a new account on preferred.social to try Interstellar again with a piefed instance.
Now's the time.
Although I have to say that using firefox for piefed, it's been great for a tab pack rat like me. But that also means all the bad tab pack rat habits...

Edit 2: can't make comments with it. I tried making one and it said only one per minute.
I've increased the comment rate limit to 3 per minute.
Now it's popping up with error distinguished
