He's going to be the difference maker for their twelfth title in a row
Better that than making no difference at a club going nowhere.
I agree, it's just funny to go from that to a club for which success in anything but the Champions League is meaningless.
He should have left way earlier. I hope, he will win the UCL at least once with Bayern, he just deserves to win big titles.
I think this was the best move he could get this summer.

£100 million for one year left on his contract... It's honestly insane. Seems like even just decent players these days go for tens of millions. The (footballing) world has gone crazy.
To be fair though, the striker market is insane right now. Hojlund £80 million, Napoli demanding £150 million for Omishen. When you consider that, £100 million doesn't seem that insane provided it brings bayern a deep CL run. If they win it in the next few years, it's 100% worth it for them.
