Like the community on the other site, this is a place to share your experiences using the TooGoodToGo app. It let's you buy food from bakeries, cafes, buffets, and restaurants that they would otherwise throw out at the end of the day. You should try foodsharing, which is the non-commercialised original movement (in Europe).

The target market for this is parents of not-picky teenage boys, who like to eat late at night. That being said, I am a big fan, I usually will pick up a few exotic slices of pizza and heat them up the next day, or a bag of bagels over the weekend and freeze them. It's great for discovering new places and getting food that I would not ordinarily eat, but you will have to slow down as the food by me is nearly exclusively pizza and bagels..
Yeah that sounds like a great haul. There are a few deals here in NYC that sell out very fast too, but it’s usually only the really high end bakeries.
