Yeah... no. Romania's democracy is currently teetering on the brink and trying its damnedest not to fall in. Romanians, you are not safe yet.
Not just Romania. Democracy is under siege around the world.
If the managed through the fascism in Europe (Germany, Italy, ) and Asia (Japan) last century, we might be able to get through the current wave (Russia, China and the US so far). Brazil gave me hope, after ditching their would be dictator after just a few years.
