I'm not saying this to insult or egg people on. I've spent most of my life in Texas and have always heard about how nothing like this could happen in our country/state so on and so forth.

I just always kinda expected the pot to immediately boil over. Instead, I find myself gaining more and more perspective on my family from the Holocaust.
