Will linux mint (not LMDE) update to 6.2 kernel to follow suit with ubuntu in the same victoria 21.2 - point release?
Now that ubuntu has updated their LTS kernel from 5.15 to 6.2 will mint follow suit in the same point release cycle?

You can change the kernel if you want through update manager.Linux mint doesnt always follow with ubuntu.
It’s been available for a while.
In the software updater select View > Linux Kernels.
Linux Mint do not use the HWE kernel like Ubuntu. However, be on the lookout for a Linux Mint 21.2 Edge ISO. It's not released yet, but that ISO will use a newer kernel.
I just use the OEM kernel for 6.1 LTS, personally
