Really fun qualifying. A lot of laps that looked good but seemed to have their tires die by S3. Norris ended up with only green sectors and pulled a tenth over Leclerc. Must have balanced it perfectly.

The new C6 tyre was a fun challenge to watch the drivers figure out. Monaco qualy just never disappoints. You can't seriously watch those final hot laps in Q3 and claim Monaco should leave the calendar.

6

You can however watch over an hour of "racing" where literally nothing happens and then claim it should't be in the calendar. And you can do this year after year, every year 😄

While the qualis are always good in Monaco points are awarded for racing not qualifying and races themselves are generally a snorefest.

I can appreciate qualis but I watch F1 for the racing. If I want watch something time trial style then I'd rather WRC than F1.

Holy shit Norris. Where did he pull that out of.

Great lap indeed, did not expect that after leclerc delivered that lap

I already had my fists in the air for a Ferrari pole and had to slowly lower them as the realization sank in… to an italian I would say: “mai ‘na gioia!”

2

Yes! Was really hyped the last few leclerc turns when I realized he delivers the lap. For current Ferrari form I still count it as a win 😜 Curious how the 2 stops tomorrow will play out

2

That's a very cool camera looking straight down on like half of the track

Rip terrible weekend for Merc.

The marshals pushing Russell's car out of the tunnel was a fun watch.

Been a while since Norris looked that good, wow! Championship back on?

Gonna be close to impossible to pass tomorrow, so it's certainly possible he wins tomorrow. I'm certainly hoping so.

Gonna be a strange race with the forced 2-stop, lots of opportunity to fuck up strategy. Who knows what'll happen.

Was it 2 stops and use all tires? I cant remember what they said

1

Just 2 stops. Most people will be using MMH in some order, I imagine.

2

How do you know if you are rich?

A) you have an apartment overlooking the Monaco start straight.

B) you don't watch the grand Prix and don't rent it out either!

7

I hope he doesn't think about it any more than necessary, it's genuinely not a big deal.

It's 2025 and we have a Kimi walking down the harbour next to the yachts again after a crash lol

3

Räikkönen didn't crash, if I recall correctly it was an engine failure.

2

Ah Antonelli. Even without the crash, Mercedes weren't looking the strongest.

Do you think I than when Lewis leaves Ferrari that he will blow the lid on how shit they are?

Man, say what you want about Lance Stroll, but he's really out here looking disappointed he's out in Q3 like it's not the norm. He's either delusional or dedicated, not sure.

2

He was on an alright quali lap before having to back off due to Antonelli crash. Probably could've just made it out.

2

Lando and the team absolutely on it at every step of the way this weekend. Let's hope they can nail the strategy tomorrow!

2

Did Hadjar block Tsunoda or what was that comment about?
