Didn't read the community, but got to "dating for two years" and "living together for 1.75" and immediately said to myself "that's a lesbian"

How so? Most people I know dated for a few years and lived together before getting married, myself included. I read that and it could literally mean anything.

They dated for 3 months before moving in together. I know it's a stereotype but lesbians love to move way too fast in their relationships

I think it is largely a holdover from when the marriages weren't legal. It wasn't like lawyers had to get involved for a divorce, just the exrra help with a u-haul trailer.

Then again over the winter holiday my 17 year old cousin was talking with her new girlfriend about plans to move in together for summer before college. They just broke up. So maybe some things never change.

Friendship wedding does sound like a great idea, though

They just haven't met the right man, they'll definitely settle down once they do.
