Actually finished a Friday puzzle, woohoo! Did have to look up some facts but I don't consider that cheating.
Solved it with my housemate.
He knew more of the trivia clues like 8D "Locale in Belmar, N.J.....", 2D "White Russian ingredient", etc. while I knew more of the crosswordese clues.
We're pleased with our efforts.
