Has anyone had experience with mangroves in freshwater tanks?
How did they do? Do they need root tabs? Are they fine without ever touching saltwater? Any bright light requirements?

I tried some in a brackish tank. I had 3 or 4. Only one didn’t shrivel and die and it never grew at all. I was pretty new to the hobby though and also didn’t have any supplemental light for them.
Thank you! I'm going to give it a shot and see what happens. Perhaps I'll try one in fresh water and one in a planter with some saltwater.
