I FREAKIN' QUOTED THIS IN STANDUP THIS MORNING!

Sorry for yelling. I got overly excited.

This is one of those movies has been intentionally watched beginning to end at least 3 times and I'm still not sure if I like it but will probably watch it again within a year or so

I was a roadie for Metallica, Speed of sound tour

I gave up trying to understand anything of the movie after the opening half hour, so I went ahead and watched Cars instead

I never understood the appeal of this movie. There's no plot, no structure, and no character development. It's just watching a dumbass stoner stumble around while more interesting things are alluded to happening offscreen but there's never any payoff for those teased bits.

I understand the point, I normally hate stoner comedy but this is something elevated, complex, quotable. Genuinely hilarious. Maybe give it one more chance?

It's like the images are hitting your eyeballs, but never quite reaching your brain.

And also there is plot, structure, and character development. This person must just be a fucking nihilist.

Nihilists! Fuck me. Say what you will about the tenets of national socialism, Dude, but at least it's an ethos.

I hated it first time, but loved it 2nd and 20th time round. It improves more you watch, all the dialogue joins together.

I was unprepared the first time. It was then that I learned to never underestimate the Coen Brothers.

I can go up or down on the Coens, but Lebowski, Buster Scruggs, Raising Arizona, No Country, True Grit, Lewyn Davies are masterpieces.

They're not all absolute gems, but their best work is immortal.

Did you forget about O Brother, Where Art Thou? Or Hail, Caesar?
