Solitude is dangerous. It’s very addictive. It becomes a habit after you realise how peaceful and calm it is. It’s like you don’t want to deal with people anymore because they drain your energy.
I can't see any danger in that. No kidding, were I live socializing often equals being forced to talk about irrelevant crap while ingesting alcohol, sorrounded by noisy people... No, thanks.
Currently have nobody I feel real connection with, maybe few but those live on other side of the world. But I'd need just one good friend to hangout with from time to time.
Don't over think it. Just go talk to people who seem kind of similar to you. You need to meet people who are similar or else you can't build a meaningful connection.

I love being alone, I hate being lonely. Once in a while I'd like to hangout with friends.
I'm almost never lonely. I have a few people who I'm close to and that's good enough for me.
