Lemmy doesn’t have the critical mass to be a place with every community you can imagine or all the information you need, but it’s very nice here overall. Welcome.

If you find you like a different instance, there’s no downside to making an account on that instance for easier access to their communities. I personally have three accounts across various instances, and I interact with a few other instances outside of that.

There are certain instances that tend to be less friendly than others, and some that have more strict moderation than others, but I hope you can find a place where you fit in.

Welcome! Its not quite as populated here as Reddit, but its far more honest. Feel free to ask any questions about how Lemmy works or how to get around.

I am interested in politics, current news, music (favorite bands are Beatles and Fleetwood Mac), BJJ, strength training, and support groups for many things.

I came here because i wanted a community that is more personal, does someone here know good subs for discussing about worldbuilding, science fiction, etc? No politics subs tho (i have a account where i go wherever i want and politics and this one where i want to forget that the world exists lol)
