What languages are selected for the community? Try just enabling Undetermined and nothing else. I remember one of my communities wasn't allowing me to set pics until I changed it to just Undetermined. Don't know why.
Oh wow, sure enough that did it. Maybe this is helpful: I was inspecting it with the firefox network inspector and with both English and Undetermined selected, clicking save doesn't send any network requests at all.
Something else weird, with only undetermined selected on the community, I was able to update the sidebar, but I was unable to reply to you (same infinitely spinning issue) until I reenabled both English and Undetermined on the community (I have both enabled in my user settings)
The logo seems to be clipping both on midwest.social and lemmy.world would that get fixed if a banner put in place? Just because the banner would add padding I assume. @[email protected]
The admin/owner of lemmy.world made a post earlier today talking about how his recent releases left debug mode flag on, which was causing slowness on posts/comments maybe that might have something to do with it?
It's not giving me the option to appoint you as mod, maybe because you're admin? I see the option on others' posts but not this one

The whole Lemmy language selection thing is bizarre.
