Imagine if you played monopoly but everything on the board was already owned by somebody else and the prices to buy any property from that other party were more than you start with and every time you go around the board all you can do is just do your best to break even.

It's almost like the game was designed from the ground up to teach people about the inherent monopolies of land owning!
