Sam Kirk appears on screen already dead and played by Shatner in TOS s01e29 Operation--Annihilate.

There's an episode in TOS where Sam Kirk is dead on the floor and it's just Shatner with a fake mustache, it's one with flying parasites and Kirk's nephew is the only survivor of the family.

I was 99% sure it was a photoshop but totally forgot about dead Sam Kirk in TOS Operation Annihilate, and I didn’t realize the nature of this community at the time. :)

You really haven't heard of Francisco "Pancho" Shatner? He was executed by the PRI in 1971 but till then he was one of Mexico's finest actors.
