Last week was spring break for my boys. I took the week off too. I introduced my youngest to retro gaming — including SMB. As I was going through the game, I was explaining to him the various tricks — hidden one-ups, pipes, and of course timing the flagpole for fireworks.

He’s 10. And he loves retro gaming now. Final Fantasy is his new fave.

Yup, when we did it, we were so excited, but then just kept running right until the timer ran out.

Remember using a game genie to clear it all together endless rubbing awaited I was a bit disappointed

I always panic and fuck up Mario end level jumps. The music gets too intense
