Any way to view saved comments?
I was trying to find the comments I've saved on the Connect app, but the Saved tab on the left navigation rail only seems to display saved posts; not comments. Is there a way to view saved comments in the app?
Update: It seems the comments are actually there under Saved. However, when I sort by "new", newly created comments appear after posts for some reason. I have to scroll ALL the way down to view the saved comments. This seems to be a sorting bug.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. I'll take a look at this now. In theory the saved comments and saved posts are mixed in together.
I confirm this, if it's possible to view saved comments I'm not able to figure out how.
Ah, indeed they are. I would say that is not great UX and there's a useful feature request here to offer a saved comments view separate from the saved posts view, which is a feature in Jerboa and liftoff at least.
Oh thank you - seems they are there; I just didn't expect the saved posts and comments to be mixed.
However, I think I was initially convinced that they were no under Saved because when I sorted by "new", I did not see the recently created comments i had saved at the top. I'll test this out again to double check.
I also noticed this "sorting" of saved Comments after the saved Posts.
Looks like an opportunity to Post a [Feature Request] , to either correctly sort Saved posts and Comments together, or have a selection/filter to display just the saved Posts or saved Comments.
There are some Lemmy apps that do have this option to display saved Posts or Comments separately.
Open the menu on the left and click on Saved.
