That's a weird cult they have going on there. I'm quite sure people weren't this crazy 20 years ago. In my country we are having elections this year and out of curiosity I watched debates from the 90s, I was astonished that there was at least some discourse, conversation and that politicians were talking about real problems while bringing up real data. Idiocracy seems more real than ever.
Idk what it is about Trump that has completely broken people's brains. I know a lot of people who were relatively normal or at least not really interested in politics before Trump and are now completely obsessed like this.
I think electing a black man (twice) broke a lot of people's brains, and when Trump came along he said the stupid, hateful shit they were thinking, they latched on.
