I celebrated Easter morning with a small group of friends paddling at Lake Pleasant (Arizona, just north of Phoenix) today. Some had nothing else going on today, some joined us in the morning before attending to other activities. It's so nice to be on the water at 7am with only the wildlife and fisherman as company. We paddled, hiked and enjoyed the scenery. By the time we pulled out around noon many families and large gatherings dotted the shoreline.
I couldn't think of a better way to spend the day.
