That was a dynamite qualy. On tracks like this where skill expression is really high for the drivers it's no surprise that the potentially best driver in history ends up on pole.

I really like this track actually and think qualy here is always such a good show. I really wish the official broadcast was better at using cockpit cameras though as on tracks like this especially that's what you want to see.

What a lap George!

I've always been a lando fan since he joined F1 but I'm not sure he has the head to be a champion sadly which really sucks. He seems to perform best when he's coming from behind and has fewer expectations placed on him.

I wonder why did Albon stay in the pits in the final minutes of Q2, did Williams (or him) thought he couldn't do a better lap?

Qualy around here is always amazing. I know the first year's layout was probably too dangerous but man was it something else. That "lap that never was" from Max still lives rent free in my head.
