I wonder, if we were threatening their sovereignty, openly and repeatedly, would they come visit us? No, they'd be losing their minds. I see California as one of the less outrageous parts of the US, but that doesn't mean I'm going to suddenly give up my integrity and self-respect because they need my business.
If you want Canadians to travel to the US, get rid of trump first. It's not entirely a moral issue anyway, it's genuinely dangerous for foreigners now. Why the hell would I risk my freedom? Because I feel sorry for their economy? No thanks.

My Canadian friends - the US needs you, probably significantly more than you need us right now. Don't back down against the fascism and tyranny; the fact that we're hurting for your money is how you know you're succeeding.
