The PDGA has the weekend off, well, there’s a “competing” tour starting up from GoThrow(formerly GKPro, the guys that brought and still bring skins all year)

The event is not sanctioned by the PDGA so you may see some more interesting lines that wouldn’t be taken while in a sanctioned event. They’re still playing for tour points and some sort of playoff for a winner of the GoThrow tour!

I think the competition is good for the PDGA, there are a lot of things that players would like to change. Hopefully the pressure will help get some changes.

I am curious to see if either tour can figure out how to be profitable. I don’t think the PDGA makes money, which makes me a bit nervous for the future of professional disc golf. We will see.
