Sometimes I'll randomly remember a joke or funny situation from years ago and suddenly grin or laugh about it again. Then people ask me what's so funny and I can't really explain.
Teacher: "And so, the United States dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, wiping the cities off the map, and causing untold amounts of death and suffering to those who were caught in their wake."

That's when you gotta tell them "sorry, I'm slightly insane" then when you see their reaction, you can't help but laugh even harder. Works every time.
Neat now I will remember this meme and laugh whenever I'm supposed to stay serious
