"Due to the new tariffs that came into effect on April 5th, we’re temporarily pausing US sales on a few base Framework Laptop 13 systems (Ultra 5 125H and Ryzen 5 7640U). This kind of thing reminds me of historians who say peace is an exception in human history.
This is good in my opinion. We need more companies to draw attention to the tariffs being the problem.
Ugh, I was about to buy one in the next couple weeks. I was expecting higher prices but not a "can no longer purchase".
Perhaps you can get a different model. It seems that only some models of the 13 are affected for now.
The market for used framework devices should be great no?

Supply lines are global.
They might just have to move production out of the US too.
