More than 700,000 Level 2 chargers are installed across the state in single-family homes, according to state estimates.

Those are pretty nice numbers. I was going to post that, given the time difference for refueling, you would need a lot more chargers than gas pumps for an equivalent number of vehicles, but they're already there.

There’s some free ones too. My wife and I use them when we drive up to the Bay Area. Caltrans is awesome. It costs us about $200 to drive my truck up, and about $25 to drive her electric car up.
