Apple used the iPhone name without consulting Cisco Systems. They settled out of court.
They also used their trademarked term "iOS" from Cisco and still have to pay to use the name.
Fun fact: Aiphone is a brand of intercom and other VoIP products. The ear logo means it works with hearing implants and aides.
It's called T-coil or something.
Another fun fact, the I is silent, so really its the A-Phone
