My non native english speaking ass imagined it like the shover head and hose and the valve will have open source design and would be repairable and you can 3d print new nozzles or something and i was like what is the issue with that i would take that anytime over my current one
You can totally 3d print shower heads, it's usually a pretty standard connector. (Well, there's like two standards, based on very limited research - US and Canada have a different standard than the rest of the world.)

Free as in freedom (in your own home) and open source as in you open the source of water coming in.
Sounds good to me I'm fine with my close friends, who benefit most from me showering, showering with me. They've just never asked to.

Developers license is free, but in general yes, you need to pay for rhel (worth it).

Where do they live where Showers are free and open? You can charge like $7 for a shower, showers in home cost water which the owner gets billed for.
I think gratis showers would be impossible.
