Looking for good vegan hair bleach that doesn't break the bank

I've recently found out that Garnier is affiliated with Nestlé which is awful. Been using their bleach for a while now because it's affordable and vegan compared to other brands which aren't specifically marked as vegan.

Do any of you guys have recommendations?

I’m confused. Assuming you’re talking about bleach for laundry it’s just Sodium Hypochlorite. I don’t see how they could be derived from animals or animal products unless I guess if you’re counting diatoms from billions of years ago.

I think it's about hair bleach since Garnier (cosmetics/hair product brand) was mentioned. Hair bleach is/was commonly tested on animals, so even though it doesn't contain animal products it's connected to animal cruelty.

Bleaching or coloring animal hair is cruelty?

Have you ever bleached your hair? That shit burns AF both on your skin and in your eyes. Now imagine you got bred for the sole purpose of spending your life in a tiny cage where people test painful chemicals on you till you die. Pretty cruel indeed.

For those interested, Garnier is a brand of L'Oréal. Nestlé does own about 20% of L'Oréal shares, but is not directly involved in Garnier. I'm sorry but I'm sceptical you'll be able to find some mass-produced product not made by a company at least partially owned by assholes...

Sadge, I figured. Maybe Garnier is the next best thing I can get considering most other brands are either not vegan at all or maybe, possibly vegan if vegan-ingredient checker websites are to be trusted.

Doesn't make it any less ridiculous. In fact, maybe even more.

I belive so. Mostly anyway. Millions of humans are using it voluntarily every day.
