Where are you hosting immich?

Curious how others are using Immich. I am currently running it on a TrueNas Scale system, but am planning on running it on either a VPS or a self hosted server via Docker in the future.

I only learned about Immich recently and haven't gotten to building it out yet, but my plan is this:

Immich running on my home-server with lots of disk space.
A VPS running Caddy
Headscale/Tailscale tieing them together in a VPN.
Caddy proxies Immich for gallery sharing.

You accomplish the same goal around access for public sharing with Cloudflare, but I've had a VPS for a long while and run other stuff on it.

Mine is simple.

Self hosted on my server. Nginx proxy manager to proxy it, and cloudflare as the nameserver.

But really, how ever you proxy it is up to you, but the performance of the server for serving assets is probably a bigger concern, especially with transcoding video files.
