It's a fucking kids Disney movie, adults are not the target audience, little kids demanding to see it and parents not caring is still a lot of tickets regardless of what adults think about it.
But again, random adults with opinions aren't the target audience, the target audience is little kids with parents who even if they care won't want to explain any of the reasons adults don't like it.
Parents make health and ethical decisions about what their children consume all the time. The kids aren't out there just using their own money and independent transportation to go see the movie in theaters.
