Major disruption as Heathrow closed all day after nearby fire causes power outage

A part of me wonders if this was a genuine failure or sabotage.

Part of the Metropolitan police too it would seem given that they've brought in counter terrorism officers

That's going to be chaos for at least a week, (assuming they get power back today!)

Shouldn't an airport that big have redundant power feeds?

It does. That failed too. They don’t know why yet. It’s too early to bother speculating.

I for one am glad I am not flying anywhere this week.
