They are going to be replaced by sycophants. Kari Lake killed off the US govt's subscriptions to AP, Reuters and some other news wire and said something to the effect of, "We don't need to be buying news, we need to be creating news."
And yes, I think she actually said "creating". So! State run media inbound.

They're the foreign propaganda arm of the US government. That has some positives with the negatives, but what cancelling it isn't is operating on America First principles, which is just hilarious.
