Even if, not all goods are available in the EU.
that's really the big issue in my mind, money is just a social thing we all agree on, but production capacity is a hard physical reality.
I suppose the capacity for about 80% of the need is there.
We (EU) just don’t have products for few certain military needs.

Rheinmetall and Leonardo and even smaller actors like Beretta have already gone to the moon in the last weeks.
Well… have a look at Rheinmetall, Renk, Hensoldt, Leonardo, BAE, SAAB, Thales… 🤭
Even Thyssen Krupp and they have a massive steel business at the site, which has huge problems.
As much as I dislike Flinten-Uschi and as much as she's saying this for the wrong reasons, I am for once inclined to agree with her.
The USA are an unreliable partner and using their equipment means we're dependent on them. That's unwise from a security perspective.
Turkey bought some airplanes from USA, a year ago. But all the electronics will be installed and maintained by them.
On the other hand my country (Greece) bought the same planes, but USA can remote lock them down, if she wants. 😂
