I'd normally would advocate for a lance each (4-5ish mechs) however with 3 players thst might be a bit much, I'd lean towards 2ish mechs each with ideally simillar roles / pts

I'd encourage checking out the alpha strike box as a frame of reference and try to keep the selections limited to those mechs even if you don't own the box/mechs

Thanks mate we have at least a lance each so we will all be taking turns and having a few games less beer and pretzels but weed and punk lol

I wish you all luck and I hope you enjoy yourselves its a neat system and can definitely scratch the tabletop itch at a rather affordable budget which is refreshing nowadays. I've found these tools for classic but the hit table I believe crosses over and the SATOR system mimics much of the GATOR system. I found these were nice trainers to help make the game a bit more muscle memory.
