Legit, start one. I haven't seen such a thing, but if you start it, you have the chance to shape what the community will become. There's an awesome thing :)

very! but modding a community is a big commitment and a lot of work. I miss quite a few subs but work too much and would 100% be an absentee mod who forgets I'm supposed to be doing work on the community

Yeah, and we don't have automod here to make one man operations viable if there's a surge of users.

The mod tools that are present are pretty bare bones anyway.

Never was able to start one. It stops at the create community button once I do the details.
