Have they changed how ritual casting works?

Playing through as Gale. In tabletop DND, all wizards are able to use ritual casting from the start, but I’ve picked up Find Familiar and I’m not seeing the option to do that, nor do I see it listed in his character description (N isn’t pulling up a character sheet for some reason)

EDIT: Ritual casting confirmed, just works differently than I had assumed

You can cast a spell tagged as Ritual and it won't use a slot if out of combat, but you need to prepare the spell before. You can change prepared spells at any time outside of combat too.

Thank you! I forget that Wizards can swap prepared spells out of combat in this game

Oh I see. I may select it to learn OR maybe I will find it in the world somewhere.

I at work, so can't look. But I am Wizard and would like a familiar. Don't tell me where you got it-but I will be looking for this spell too.

I have just started my play through but haven't found this spell yet. I did find a wizard hat. Not magical as far as I can tell but it looks cool and keeps the sun out of my eyes.

Sorry, when I say “picked up” I mean selected as a learned spell when I levelled up (you can also start the game with it). I actually wouldn’t know where to find a spell scroll for it

You reached the end
