Was over at reddit.com/r/sandiego. It was business as usual. Despite my outrage at the situation with Reddit higher ups and the mods, I realize that the average schlub barely knows, and likely doesn't give a rat's eyelash. I want the Fediverse to succeed, but I know it's going to be a long haul...
Community just needs content and reasonable moderation. Keep it going for a few years and be ready for when they slay the golden goose and people will come running.
sdtmi is more worried about his false narrative and "death threats" to care about any of the plebs who left. Let his shrinking base be his undoing.
