Do you know any online shop for laptop batteries?
I know that 100% of batteries are made in China, but I'd like to buy one from an European shop. I need a battery for a pretty old laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad W540) which works fantastically well with Linux.
So, any links are appreciated. Thanks!

I have good experience with ReplaceDirect, they sell both original and 3rd party parts. They have online stores for at least Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, maybe more.

FYI Eneloop rechargeable batteries (AA and AAA) are made in Japan. I think some Makita power tool batteries are also made in Japan. I know that info doesn't help you right now but felt somewhat relevant.
1001 Piles Batteries is a French vendor also established in a few other european countries and in China, i regularly visit their brick and mortar location but they also have an online shop. They have what you need, not sure if it's economical to ship to your location though. https://www.1001piles.com/searchengine/result/?q=Lenovo+Thinkpad+W540
This is great, especially because I'll be in Paris for work in April. Thanks for the suggestion!
oh wow that couldn't have worked out better, glad it was useful advice!
Thanks for this. Why the heck did I use Amazon last time.
Ebay works quite well for ThinkPads
And is an American platform as a bonus
Yeah, that's exactly why I'm asking in this community. I don't want American companies involved.
Ah, good point. Any Ebay alternative?
