Given the relatively small size of the Lemmy userbase, you might want to extend the event or reduce the pixel placement wait time. The canvas will still be mostly whitespace by the time it's over.
With the way it's going now, and considering that Friday didn't end up to be the best day for our community to start the event, the extension time is really desired.

Yes, extended event would be good
This is great. R/place is a neat concept on a bad website. Glad we now have one here.
Thanks!
The Lemmy OTP login system is very clever
Cool initiative! Thank you for setting this up!
I have pinned an announcement to my instance so that it's easy for users to find it.
the login looks like a good phishing attempt 🤔
Edit: hmm cool it's an OTP thing
I also felt like it was a phishing attempt. Good thing it only asked for the code it PMed me.
I'm really interested in how this thing will pan out 😀
There's a need to spread the post across fediverse lemmy.
I wish they would stop comparing it to r/place. I believe that's tradnarked so you could get into legal trouble
lol, I can already see the OSU logo on the making.
who did aphex twin?
There's two! I helped turn the northern one Syro green though.
Thank you!
Awesome!
Will there be a stats page? Because there is a link that leads to a non-existent page
